New Man Cave

So I have been a little busy lately.  Got married, bought a house, replaced a broke down car, and a got a dog- pretty much all in the last 9 months.  So suffice it to say that I haven't had time for my fishing blog.  Anyway- one perk of being a newlywed in a new house is that you can build yourself a man lair (if your wife is cool like mine).  I couldn't take a picture of the whole room at once so heres the fly tying side:

I bought this desk at IKEA, which I thought would be a totally useless shopping trip.  Turns out, IKEA is affordable and fairly useful.  This desk is far better than my old roll top desk that was only 3 feet wide and it has a bunch of drawers.

The other side is devoted to rod building/general man activities and a couple guitars and amps.

One thing that really helped me out here was the wall paper that the last owners put up:

Not only does my wife think this paper is hideous, it actually reflects the contents of the room (except the duck decoy and the powder horn, but I would take one or both of those too).  I love it, of course. This space also contains a TV and a few speakers but I still need a mini fridge.  Now I just need to find time to actually go into my man cave and use it... it is not looking good at the moment.
